EMIRATES
Emirates are one of the leading airlines in the Middle East, indeed the world. They operate approximately 130 wide-bodied aircraft drawn from 3 aircraft families: the Airbus A330 / A340, Airbus A380 and the Boeing 777. A further 150 aircraft remain on order.
Mango expertise was applied to arrange financing for 14 aircraft as part of Emirates’ rapidly expanding fleet:
- Emirates are constantly in search of innovative structures and alternative sources of financing for it’s aircraft acquisition programme.
- Financing arranged for 7 x B777s, 5 x A330s and most recently 2 x A380’s.
- Export credit financing secured from the European Export Credit Agencies and related junior debt for 2 x A330-200 aircraft.
- 5 German tax finance leases arranged for 1 x 777-200, 1 x 777-200ER and 3 x A330-200 aircraft.
- 6 aircraft (3 x B777-300ER’s, 1 x 777-200LR and 2 x A380-800’s) financed on long term operating leases, including sourcing of underlying debt and equity finance from European and Chinese lenders.
- 1 finance lease for a B777-200.
"Supported by ongoing investment in the most modern aircraft, Emirates has established itself as one of the leading airlines in the world, in record time."
